Baroness Susan Greenfield had the following to say about Zafeiri (you can read the text by clicking on the thumbnail):
“The last meal that left me truly impressed was at a taverna in Athens called
Zafeiri, we were a large group, all Greek or Greek speakers. It was so convivial;
we shared fresh, hot pitta, an enormous salad, fresh feta, which I adore, and
several whole roasted fishes. I remember sitting in the late-aftrenoon sun with
a view of the Mediterranean - and the food, the ambience, the great company -
and just grinning.”

Sky Magazine of Delta Airlines has recently included us in their Athens
recommended restaurants list as part of their Athens City Guide promotion.

Nels J. Hawkinson, Executive Director, Basketball Travelers Inc., Washigton - June'09
"It is truly one of the finest and best restaurants in this wonderful country.
I enjoy the atmosphere, the hospitatily and especially the great tasting foods. In my book it's a 5+ star restaurant."
Karen Sortino Tsinglas originally from New York City now living in Athens Greece - May'09
"We were in Athens last year at this time and our friends who live in Kavouri took us to the marvellous Zafeiri at dusk for a wonerful dinner al fresco."
Vernon McCreary from Toronto - May'09
"We found Zafeiri while searching Trip Advisor. We sat at a table that overlooked the beach. With the sounds of the waves and the cool breeze within the covered patio, we dined on fresh seafood and watched the sun set. What a way to end a perfect day discovering Athens. As much as we enjoyed Athens it was all too perfect to stay
at a hotel and eat at a restaurant just at the edge of the city; right on the beaches."
Michael Matthews-Bowmanville Ontario Canada - May'09
